esperanza aguirreLa presidenta de la Comunidad de Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre, propuso hoy privatizar el servicio de lucha contra el fuego de la comunidad. En un alarde de gestión inventiva, esta visionaria política declaró: "No se trata únicamente de apagar el fuego, sino de hacerlo de manera eficiente. ¿Hay que utilizar tanta agua? Y esos camiones, ¿no son demasiado grandes? Deben contaminar demasiado, y los vecinos se quejan del ruido de las sirenas."

Entre sus propuestas, la presidenta recalcó la importancia de hacer del servicio de bomberos una empresa rentable y autosostenible, con la aparición de patrocinadores que sufraguen parte del coste de la operación.

Así, según palabras de Esperanza Aguirre, empresas como Coca-Cola podrían estar muy interesadas, ya que el color de los camiones es perfecto para asociar la marca, y Lanjarón podría proveer parte del agua utilizada en la extinción de incendios.

También presentó al público el primer vehículo de bomberos fruto de esta privatización, que se ajusta claramente a la filosofía de esta nueva etapa en la historia de los bomberos de la comunidad de Madrid.
