Un equipo de paleontólogos cree que se trataba de una ama de casa con poca actividad física.

Un equipo de paleontólogos dirigidos por el doctor Fernando Muñiz ha encontrado en la provincia de Huelva restos fósiles de una foca del Plioceno, que suponen los primeros de esta especie con una antigüedad de cuatro millones de años que se localizan en Andalucía.

Al parecer esta foca podría haber sido delgada de joven pero la falta de actividad física y el cotilleo prehistórico le fueron mermando sus facultades de movilidad básicas.

Las focas del Plioceno se caracterizaban por su agresividad con el macho dominante, si alto grado de relación social con otros individuos de su mismo género y por la cantidad ingesta de comida que podía consumir diariamente.

Se trata de un gran descubrimiento que apenas revela mucha más información ya que los investigadores se encuentran en las fases inciales de su trabajo.
